About Woodlands Family Nurture Centre

A warm welcome is extended to you by everyone at Woodlands Nursery.

For many of you, your child starting nursery will be the first step of their education journey and our nursery team firmly believes in building a positive partnership with you.

We aim for all children to be happy, confident individuals who are able to work with each other and who go on to develop a love for learning. At Woodlands we provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment for all children where they will have fun and receive support as they need it.  We will encourage them to become independent and know how to care for themselves and each other. We complement our work with children by supporting families and have a variety of family learning and support groups on offer.

Yours sincerely

At Woodlands Children and Families Come First!

Woodlands Family Nurture Centre is a large well maintained and welcoming purpose built  nursery situated in the town of Methil.  As well as providing high quality early learning and childcare for children aged 3-5, we also cater for 2 year old children who are eligible to receive 1140 hours as well as those who have been referred from a partner agency.

At Woodlands we have a current pupil role of over 100 children. We have 3 areas for our 3-5 year olds and 2 playrooms for our Early Entrants alongside a family room, a calm Zen Den, sensory room and office spaces. All nursery areas and playrooms have direct access to a secure garden. We also have our Secret Garden which offers a different outdoor play experience for all children.

Before your child starts

You will be invited to bring your child to visit the nursery where you will have the opportunity to visit the areas and meet the staff team. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions and gather information to support your child’s transition into nursery.

Keyworkers

Your child will have a keyworker within their area however all staff in the nursery will get to know you and your child.

What do children do at nursery?
