STARTING P1 IN AUGUST 2025
If your child is due to start P1 in August 2025, you should enrol them online from January 2025 using the link below. The deadline for enrolment is likely to be mid-March.
If you live in our catchment area, you can enrol directly to Strathkinness Primary School. If you live in another catchment area, you should enrol at the catchment school for your area, but can choose to make a placing request to Strathkinness. If you make a placing request for a school out-with your catchment area, we will send out a letter in the post with the outcome of your request in late April/May as per Fife Council policy.
STARTING IN P1-7 DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
There can be lots of reasons why children need to move schools during the school year. Please contact the school to discuss your circumstances. It is helpful if you contact us as soon as you know your child is likely to need a school place at Strathkinness. If you move into the catchment area and a place is not available, we will support you to find a place at the closest possible school, following Fife Council procedures. If you live out with the catchment area but wish your child to attend Strathkinness PS, you can make a placing request.
