Life of an Educator - Dr. Justin Tarte: January 2014

We want to ensure that the learner really is at the centre of our curriculum, and that we are teaching them the skills they need to develop within the 4 capacities. Our families, staff and partners have written what they think are they key attributes and capabilities central to the development of our curriculum.

During education reviews each family highlight what attributes are important to them and their circumstances and these impact the desired outcomes within our wider achievements.

The curriculum is then delivered through the 4 contexts for learning:

  • ethos and life of the school as a community,
  • curriculum areas and subjects,

  • opportunities for personal achievement.
