Personal and Wider Achievement
Opportunities for personal achievement
Almost all learners at Rosslyn are transported in/out of school on buses. This therefore limits access to clubs and social opportunities out with school hours. We work alongside our Fife Active Schools coordinators to offer opportunities for trying new activities within the community. Kirkcaldy has it’s own ice rink and learners enjoy taster sessions at the rink that is within walking distance from the school.
As a school we provide a ‘Friday Club’ morning every week, which we open to families on the first Friday of every month. This creates an opportunity to work alongside other learners who share your interest.
We have regular school calendar events including:
Christmas disco and visits from Santa
Trips and excursions
Theatre events etc.
We are also supported by private organisation such as PAMIS that provide a suite of activities for both young people and their families.
