Enhanced Curriculum Rationale Statement

The purpose of this site is to set out a clear and coherent curriculum rationale for learners aged 3–18 years at Rosslyn School—one that fully meets the needs of all our children and young people. Working closely with our families, partners, and wider community, we have identified what is most important for our learners given their complex additional support needs.

Our rationale reflects a strategic overview of curriculum planning, moderation processes, and the national and local guidelines that shape our work. It outlines how we design and deliver learning in meaningful, relevant, and aspirational ways, ensuring progression across all stages.

We have researched, discussed, and agreed how we work together to implement high‑quality learning and teaching approaches, drawing on evidence‑informed practice and approaches specific to our context. This collaborative process ensures that our curriculum is responsive, purposeful, and designed to support every learner to achieve their full potential.
