This week we have been busy. In Literacy we were taking notes and writing a summary from the class novel. We also wrote comparison reports between Scotland and Japan and practised our spelling words.
In Numeracy some of us were learning how to convert top heavy fractions to mixed numbers and others were subtracting from hundreds of thousands.
For our topic we started creating an interactive map of Japan using Powerpoint and a fact file about the country.
In Science we were learning about the benefits and disadvantages of electric cars. We are going to use this topic as a debate next week.
In ICT we started coding our games on Scratch. In Art we are doing an online art lesson with the National Galleries about Andy Goldsworthy on Friday.
We have enjoyed spending more time with our P1 buddies this week. We read to them in class and spent time apple picking.
The school voted for the P7 House captains and we got the results this week. Well done to Soren C, Felix, Saoirse, Morag, Holly, Sophia-Rose, Amelia and Nairn.
