It has been lovely to see everyone again after the Christmas Holidays.

 

We discussed some of our targets as we welcome the New Year and have created artwork to share these in class.

 

We have been developing our handwriting skills, reminding ourselves about breaks in joins.

 

In Numeracy, we have been exploring place value in decimal numbers.

 

In Dance, we have learned two Scottish dances and had lots of fun doing so.

 

We have been working together to share our findings on the different body systems in Science. We also measured our heart rate as we learned about the importance of keeping a healthy heart.

 

We have selected new reading books and worked with others to record our predictions about these texts. We have also selected Scottish Burns’ poems to learn as part of our learning around Scottish Language.

 

In Drama, we have been developing our skills in using scripts and we will explore this further this term.
