Primary 7

In Primary 7 we have been learning about coding on Scratch. All of us made a game based on Mario Kart/Japan. We also made leaflets to advertise our games to encourage people to play it. Next, we did debate planning about electric cars. We got handed a sheet to plan our debate whether we were against electric cars or not.

After that we made apple juice with our buddies. We got into groups of 4 and picked apples off the trees. Then we chopped them into little pieces and put them into the apple press.

In Maths we have been revising the properties of different 2D shapes.

Back to our topic, we followed a YouTube tutorial to draw Mario. Next we learned French words for activities that you might do after school. Mrs Mackenzie read out sentences and we had to draw what we thought it was. After that, we started to work on our Japan Interactive Maps. That was a map of Japan we made on Powerpoint that is, as the name suggests, interactive. We also made Japan fact files, because our topic at the moment is Japan.

Throughout the week we have been working on our house and class stalls, for the summer fair. As usual, we have been reading our class novel, Wonder, throughout the week as well.
