Friday 24th May

We enjoyed attending the Big Strum at the Rothes Halls in Fife this week and it was a chance to perform the songs we have learned on ukulele this year alongside pupils from across Fife and a live band.

In Numeracy, we have been developing our skills in scale drawings and 3 figure bearings.

We have continued to read our class novel, ‘When Stars are Scattered’. We have researched individuals who have faced discrimination and written accounts about them and why they inspire others. We have also created posters about these individuals and this work will be shared with Madras.

In our Kidnapped topic, we have completed several missions to solve further clues. We enjoyed having Helen McMorris from Abertay University Forensics Department to help us explore finger prints, DNA and blood samples.

In Health and Well-being, we have explored how to cope with changes in life. In P.E, we have developed skills in football and team games.

We enjoyed watching the movies we created this week, and gave feedback to each other on what we enjoyed and what we could develop.

In our loose part play, we worked well together to design obstacle courses and enjoyed playing with the parts too.
