This week in P6 we have been very busy with lots of exciting learning activities.
In Loose Parts, we have been creating our own games and working together to design and build them. We used our creativity and teamwork skills to make our ideas come to life.
In Writing, we wrote balanced arguments linked to our biodiversity topic. Some of us explored the question “Should zoos exist?” while others discussed “Should wolves be reintroduced into the wild?”. We learned how to present both sides of an argument clearly and fairly.
In Numeracy, we have been learning how to multiply decimals by single digits. We have been practising using different strategies to help us solve problems accurately.
In Art, we continued working on our close-up animal drawings. This week we focused on front and side face profiles, carefully looking at shape, detail and shading.
We are also continuing to work hard on our assembly and are beginning to bring all the different parts together.
During Outdoor Learning, we planted sunflowers. We are excited to watch them grow over the next few weeks!
