This week in P6 has been full of creativity, collaboration and new challenges!

In literacy, we have been putting together and illustrating our moral stories for our buddies. The children worked carefully to ensure their stories had clear messages and engaging illustrations to share.

In Loose Parts play, we explored animal habitats. Pupils used a variety of materials to design and build imaginative environments, thinking carefully about what each animal would need to survive.

In ICT, we brought our learning to life through stop motion animation. Using toys and everyday objects, we created short animations showing animals in their habitats. The children showed great patience and creativity throughout the process.

We also began Bikeability this week, developing our cycling skills and learning how to stay safe on the road.

Another highlight was meeting our future buddies again, helping to build positive relationships ahead of working together more closely.

In PE athletics, we focused on the standing long jump. Pupils used their maths skills to measure and record their jumps, linking sport with numeracy in a fun and practical way.

A fantastic week of learning across the curriculum!
