P3/4 Friday 16th June 2023

This week we have all delivered our presentations on a hobby, interest or club. Everyone did a fantastic job and it was great finding out more about everyone’s achievements.

We did an outdoor learning task where, in pairs, children had to build a tower out of sticks, stones, leaves or grass. The tallest tower won. There were lots of creative ideas and children worked very well together.

In Numeracy, we did some learning on working out how much time had passed. We also did a bit of revision on adding costs and multiplying and dividing.

We are going to be writing a twisted fairy tale next week so this week we have read some and thought about how we could put our own twist to a fairy tale.

We have been doing activities to gain points for Sports Day. We did the Trim Trail Challenge, a Beetle Drive, Bench Ball, Target Zone and a Sports Quiz. It has all been great fun. Everyone did so well today in the Sports Day races!

Miss Amy has a  book about record-breaking animals and their skeletons. We had to read about the animal, look at their skeleton and try and work our what it was. A Blue Whale has the largest bone on the planet and the Peregrine Flacon has the lightest.
