This week in P1 we read ‘The Jolly Postman’. The postman had an adventure of delivering letters to well known fairy-tale characters. We then wrote our own letters to these characters inviting them to a party. We looked at key features of a letter and included them in our own.

In numeracy we were learning all about fact families and we created our own rules for them. When subtracting the largest number comes first and when adding the largest number is the answer.

In math we learnt about pictograms. In class we then made our own pictogram by creating a survey to find out what everyone’s favourite colour was.

In PE we have been working on developing our tennis skills with lots of games and stations.
