Welcome to P4a!
Our class teachers are Mrs Dickson (Monday -Wednesday) and Mrs Murray (Thursday -Friday).
Our PE day is Wednesday so please wear your PE kit to school each Wednesday. Sometimes this may be outside so remember a long sleeved top for when the weather is not so warm.
Our reading and any homework will be issued each Wednesday. Please could it be handed in for the following Monday, with reading records signed.

*03/04/25 – Rocket Launch!
We made rocket launchers out of milk bottles or water bottles, then decorated a cone rocket for the top. Here are some photos of us making and launching our rockets!
*National Book Week 03/03/25-07/03/25
We have been busy in class with all things book related this week. We have had an online author talk, a Footy and Booky quiz, a mystery reader visit to read to the class, and lots of reading sessions.
Today we celebrated World Book Day by bringing in our favourite books to read, discuss, and use for some art work. We also had a teacher swap for some class reading. We then paired up with P6 for some reading together – we even managed to catch some sunshine to read outside!
Friday will be Book Swap day – don’t forget to check at home if there is a book you don’t want any more and you can then choose one book to take home and keep. You are welcome to bring in more than one book, but everyone who brings in books will be bringing one book home only.
Here are some pictures of P4a working on some alternate book covers for favourite books

We have been revising what we know already about analogue and digital time in class. Here’s a link to a game to brush up on telling the time, have a go at home if you get chance – https://mathsframe.co.uk/en/resources/resource/116/telling-the-time
