Our teacher is Mrs Beck.
We have 31 pupils in our class.
PE
Mr Cardus will take the class for PE on a Thursday. Please come to school in your PE kit every Thursday. PE lessons take place both indoors and outdoors so please remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
HOMEWORK
This will be set on a Wednesday and will be due to be returned the following Monday.

LEARNING REVIEW – 9th October
Numeracy – In numeracy we have been consolidating our learning from the term. We have participated in mental maths sessions to support with this and we have played some of the class consolidation games. We completed a short subtraction assessment at the start of the week to help us see what our targets are when we begin this after the holidays.
Maths – We continued with our directions focus. We were using the words ‘clockwise’ and ‘anticlockwise’ to describe turns and we began to develop our understanding of the number of degrees in specific turns.
Art – We have been using what we learned about warm and cold colours to design a new front cover for our ‘Holes’ Novel. We think these look really effective and are very proud of them!
Literacy (Writing) – Mrs Muir joined us for our writing session this week. We began to write our spooky story using the plans we made last week. Mrs Muir went around and asked us some questions about our learning. We will be continuing this story after the holidays.
