Kirkton of Largo Primary School

Parent Council

The Parent Council exists to give parents and carers a voice in supporting the education of your children.

We meet once a term (virtually or in person when permitted!) and discuss key issues with the headteacher as well as how we can fundraise to support school activities. We tend to organise a range of social events each year, with the highlight the annual Christmas Fair at the school.

Our funds support things such as the school pantomime trip, leavers’ hoodies and additional play/learning equipment not covered by the school budget.

We are always keen to hear from parents/carers and welcome ideas for activities the Parent Council might explore in the future. All parents/carers are welcome to attend our meetings – we are always keen to see new members and look forward to seeing you soon!
