Remembrance Day 2023 (Mrs Harrower)
The House Captains will be coming around tutors this week to give you an opportunity to donate money for a poppy. Please donate anything you can afford. All money will go to Poppy Scotland.

S6 Year Group Photo (Miss Lipton)
The S6 Year Group photos will take place this morning at 9:45am at the steps outside reception infront of the school. Please be sharp!

Safe Drive Stay Alive (Mrs Sim)
All S5 will be attending Safe Drive Stay Alive today period 6/7. Please register with your period 6 teacher first then come to the assembly hall. This event covers some upsetting subjects around driving and road traffic collisions. Please see your guidance teacher if you do not feel you can manage to attend this for personal reasons.

PE Lost Property (Mrs Steedman)
If you have lost any items of clothing since summer can you please come down to the PE department on Wednesday at lunch to see if you can find any of your items. These clothes will be taken to a charity shop if the owners are not found.

Senior Football (Mr I’Anson)
There will be a meeting at break today regarding the Scottish Cup match.

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)
Could all S1 on the teamsheet for this week’s game, please attend a meeting at break today in the PE department.

S1-2 Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
If you are interested in playing in the tournament next Monday please attend a meeting at break today in the girls’ gym.

S2/3 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
Training will be on tomorrow as normal.

S1&2 Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
No training today after school due to a Senior Girls’ football match.

Iceland Trip (Ms Wallace)
There will be an essential meeting for all those attending the Iceland trip on Thursday at break in B10.

S5/6 Discover STEM Day at the University of Dundee (Miss Tennant)
Visit the University of Dundee campus and experience some taster sessions in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Environmental Science and Anatomy & Human Identification. You will also have the opportunity to see the University of Dundee campus during a guided tour with some student ambassadors. S5 Lift Off LOLS Participants (Miss Nessel)
Your presentation will be delivered in school on Tuesday 31 October in my room (D8). This will be Period 5. Your teachers know not to expect you in class this period. Please come to my room promptly.

Scottish Maths Challenge (Mr Jones)
All students S1-S6 are invited to take part in the Scottish Maths Challenge. Put your strong maths skills to the test, and compete against other students across Scotland. The event will take place in C3 on Tuesday lunch time. See Mr Jones with any questions.

Lessons are on today in the Music department.

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club runs Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand masters welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.

Anime and Manga Club (Miss Kelsey)
Anybody interesting in watching, drawing, and/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.

Basketball & Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball and Badminton clubs will start on Monday afterschool in the games hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils in S1-S6 welcome.

S6 Yearbook (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook Committee will meet Monday’s after school in D9 from 3:15pm.

TUESDAY 31 OCTOBER

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on every Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15pm. Please head to the PE base after school.

S4-S6 Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
Runs on Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30pm in D15.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.
