Fife College invites you to our Engineering Open Day! (J Davidson)
Where: Rosyth campus, Wood Road, Rosyth Business Park KY11 2EA (next to Babcock)
When: Wednesday 1 February (1:00pm–5:00pm)
Our event is open to anyone interested in studying Engineering at Fife College. We have a wide range of courses available, from Foundation Apprenticeships to HNC courses, as well as business development and skills training for employees.
College Applications (J Davidson)
Anyone in S5/6 who is considering applying to college FULLTIME for Sept 2023 (even as a maybe), should come to D8 on Friday, Pd 4. Places fill up quickly so need to get an application in asap!
Anyone interested in going to college for 2 afternoons a week next session, should attend a short meeting at tutor on Friday in the Assembly Hall. No applications are necessary but an initial list of those interested will be submitted to college.

Fife Festival of Music Permission Slips must be returned to the music department as soon as possible please. Hand in to Mrs Simpson or Mrs Duckett if you are participating in Choir, String Group, Wind Band and/or Guitar Club.
Bowling with LEAP Sports (Dr Murray)
February is LGBT History Month and to mark that LEAP Sports have organised a bowling competition on Sunday 12 February at Tenpin Falkirk. It’s for aged 14+ – if you fancy being part of it see Dr Murray in A4!
S6 Leaver Hoodies (Mrs Rae)
S6 Leaver Hoodies can now be paid for on iPayimpact. They are priced at £22 and this includes nickname and a huge choice of colours. All payments to be in by 16 February. Please come and talk to Mrs Rae if you have any questions or there are any barriers to you being able to pay for a hoodie.
DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
This is now the time of year when employers start to look for apprentices/ employees. Recent feedback from employers have said that alongside qualifications they are looking for “A person that is willing to learn and go that extra mile. Someone who has an interest and cares about the work they do.” Could that be you?
Apprenticeships and job adverts are being added to the Padlet all the time including currently Diageo, Babcock, EDF and Lloyds Banking Group.

Calm Colouring Lunch Club (Ms Geddes/Miss Millar)
If you would like a calm space to have lunch and do a bit of colouring, with the option to chat through any questions with our Mental Health Ambassadors, then this is the club for you! Head along to A3 (Science) where Miss Millar and Ms Geddes will have all the resources you need to chill out and recharge for the afternoon ahead. Today from 1:10pm.
Art Club (Mrs Donaldson)
The club will have different projects to take part in such as creating artwork for displays, competitions and seasonal activities. Bring your packed/cold lunch to D15, Art Department 1pm, Thursdays.
