KHS Fifa World Cup 2026 (PE Dept)
Get your squad together, we are going to the World Cup!!! Starting Tuesday the 9th of June KHS PE department will be running a World Cup 7-a-side tournament at lunch times on the astroturf. Games will be every Tuesday and Thursday until end of term with the final being played on Thursday the 2nd of July. Teams MUST have 8 players, in case of absence. S2-3 can mix and S4,5&6 can mix! You will only be playing your allocated year group. IMPORTANT: There are QR codes around the school, ONLY 1 member of your team is required to do this and will put everyone in your teams name into the form. Please do not complete these multiple times! Any questions ask a PE teacher, good luck!

🚀 S3 Marseum Thursday 28th May (Miss Lamont-Boyce)
All S3 pupils will be off timetable on Thursday 28th May for our Marseum Project Based Learning event.
Please check your school email (glow) for your personalised timetable and session details for the day.
If you are unable to access your email, a copy of the group lists and timetables will be displayed on the bulletin boards near reception.

Make sure you check in advance so you know where to go.

Basketball (Mr Stewart)
Basketball is cancelled this week, we will resume next week.

Quadcopter Challenge S2 (Miss Barclay)
Raytheon have sent us the 2026 Quadcopter handbook and we have been given our first deadline of 11th June. All Quadcopter teams should meet in Miss Barclay’s room (maths B4) at lunchtimes to begin designing our quadcopters and to come up with a schedule of work.

Fact: In KHS we have had senior pupils lead training called MVP training where they have gone into junior classes to teach about the issue of violence towards women.

Crochet Club will run in B17 on Tuesday lunchtimes. All experiences welcome.

Biology Study Support (Mrs Geddes)
Study support for Biology will be available in the Science Department every Tuesday lunchtime in A17.

S1/2 Maths Homework/Study Club (Mrs McMahon)
All S1 and 2 pupils are invited to come and get help on Tuesday lunchtimes. Bring your lunch and get some help and extra practice with the things you find tricky.

Lunch Club (YMCA Team)
Any Pupils who would benefit from a check in or having a space that’s a bit calmer than the lunch hall/playground please feel free to pop up for a blether and a bite (we’ve got some multigrain bars and crisps) We are located in The Insync Office, across from B25.

Futsal Club (Active School’s)
Come along to the Games Hall at lunchtime (on Tuesday’s) to join in on some Futsal.
