Word of the Week (Mrs MacKenzie)

Untenable

Definition:   Something, such as a position, excuse, or situation, that is described as untenable cannot be defended against attack or criticism.

Example:  The scientists considered their colleague’s theory to be bold but ultimately untenable.

Rights of the Fortnight (Mrs Young)
Global Goal 1: No Poverty

Fact:  UNICEF estimate that around 900 million children across the world live in poverty which prevents them from accessing basic needs such as food, water and shelter.
