Lost Property (Mrs Spence)
We have a huge amount of lost property in the school, both at the main office and in the PE Department. If you wish to claim anything, please do so before the Easter Holidays, as everything will then be given to charity.

Bikes (Mrs Lister)
Please do not lock your bikes up on the gate in the Quad. Please put your bikes in the bike cage.

Fife College Open Days (Mr Fulton)
Fife College are running open days this week. This is the perfect opportunity for pupils and parents to find out more about our courses, meet lecturers, and tour their campuses. Anyone who is thinking about applying to college should try to make it to one of the events.

The Open Days are running as follows:

Wednesday 19 March: Glenrothes 3-7pm
Thursday 20 March: Kirkcaldy 3-7pm

S4 Lift Off (Miss Nessel)
You have a meeting with Lift Off P5 today. Register with your P5 teacher and make your way to Miss Nessel’s room (D8) ASAP.

You also have 1-2-1 appointments. Times are attached to the bulletin email and you can collect slips from me. Please come and see me to collect. Those not listed here will have appointments on Wednesday 26 March instead and times will follow for these.

Madrid Trip 25 (Mr Spink)
Those going on Madrid Trip, please attend a meeting in C14 (Mr Spink’s room) today, at 1:15pm – you may get your lunch first and bring it with you.  If you will be unable to attend, please ensure you speak to Mr Spink asap! Please also see Mr Spink for a lunch pass.

Fife Council Hospitality (Mr McCowan)
Interested in a career in hospitality? Fife College have a new HNC qualification you could study to help kickstart your career. If you are interested in hearing more about it then come along to C4 during Period 5 on Thursday when lecturers from the college will be here to tell you all about it. A great opportunity!

Ramadan Lunchroom (Mrs Logue)
For all pupils who are currently fasting for Ramadan, C12 (Mrs Logue’s room) is available during break and lunch times to support you with your fast. Ramadan Mubarak!

Rights of the Fortnight (Rights Respecting Schools Group)
Article 29: Purpose of Education/Developing Talents – Fact In KHS we have a range of extra-curricular groups to help develop people’s skills and talents further including Basketball, Netball, Sports Ambassadors, Mental Health Ambassadors, Subjects Ambassadors and Wellbeing Groups such as Calm Colouring and Yoga.

Article 27: Healthy Food – Free Food (Mrs Young)
Article 3: Best Interests of the Child “In KHS we try to include young people in all major school decisions. You can get involved through forums, focus groups and by joining different groups in the school”.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray) 📻
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

Anime and Manga Club (Ms Kelsey)
Anime and Manga club will be on a Wednesday lunchtime in B29.

Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)
Glee Choir will run in the Music Department on Tuesday & Wednesday lunchtime in E12.

Classics Film Club (Mrs Brown)
Classics Film Club is at lunch time today. All welcome. Bring your lunch to C11. See me in advance for a pass. Jim Henson’s Daedalus and Icarus. The one about the boy who flew too close to the sun.

Japanese Club (Mrs Morris)
Japanese club will run on a Wednesday afterschool 3:30-4:15pm in C9 with Mrs Morris. New members welcome.

S6 Yearbook & Prom Committee (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook and Prom Committee will meet from 3:25pm each Wednesday in D9.

S3-S6 Netball (Mrs Little)
S3-S6 will train on a Wednesday night 3:30-4:15pm.

S2 Football (Mr Pennel)
S2 Football will run Wednesday after school from 3:25-4:15pm.

THURSDAY 20 MARCH

Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Scottish Breaded Haddock or Fish Fingers with Chips, or a Cheese and Onion Pastry Parcel also served with Chips.

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club runs Thursday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand master’s welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Thursday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. See Dr Murray for a pass. Bring you lunch!

Together We Can Group (Miss Johnston)
Together We Can group is on after school, Thursdays in the PE department from 3:30-4:15pm.
