S5/S6 Tutor (Mrs Davidson)
Can all S5/S6 register in the Dinnerhall for the remainder of this week. We have leavers assemblies and the Hall will be getting set up for exams on Friday.

Construction at College is cancelled this week – 17th April (Mrs Hamilton)
Due to industrial action the college will be closed this Wednesday. Pupils should follow their normal in school timetable instead.

Shell Girls into Energy (see flyer) (Mrs Hamilton)
If you are in S4 or S5 and would be interested in taking this course which is part of the school college partnership (column 1) next session, please see Mrs Hamilton for more information.

Meeting today at break time in D10.

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
There will be no after school dance on until the timetable change in June.

S1 & Senior Netball (Miss Johnston)
There is no S1 & Senior netball on this week after school but will be back on next week.

Rights Respecting Schools (Miss Young)
Can all members and those who are attending the focus groups on Wednesday, please come to a quick brief on Tuesday at 1:25pm in B14.

Eid Party (Dr Murray/Miss Collins, Ms Logue)
The KHS annual Eid party will be on Friday (19 April) at 1:00pm in A11 (big Home Ec. Room). All (pupils and staff) are welcome. There will be fabulous food, lantern making, a photo booth and lots of fun to be had. First come first served! عِيد مُبَارَك‎ Eid Mubarak!

S6 – Yearbook & Prom (Miss Lipton)
Can all S6 ensure they’ve made payment to their Yearbooks & Prom. Prom must be paid in full by Friday 31 May.

S5/6 Law Work Experience (Mr. McCowan)
There is a fantastic opportunity to do work experience at PRIME in Glasgow or Edinburgh this July (8-12th). These placements are open to S5 and S6 students who meet the PRIME criteria which include:

  • your parents didn’t attend university

Double Bass/Bass Guitar/Cello Lessons (Ms Radke-da-Silva)
Lessons are on today in the Music department.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.

N5 Music Study Support (Mrs Clark)
This will run every Tuesday after school, 3:15-4:15pm.

S6 Prom Committee (Miss Lipton)
Committee meetings will take place Tuesday’s after school in D9… please come along & get involved!

WEDNESDAY 17 APRIL

National 5 Maths/Apps Study Support (Mr Jones)
Pop along to ask questions, get help with homework or just have a quiet space to study. Every Wednesday lunchtime in B5.

Rights Respecting Schools Group & Ambassadors (Ms Young)
Remember we will be meeting today to work on all the exciting ideas you have come up with, B14 at 1:15pm – come and collect a pass if you don’t already have one.

Guitar Club (Mr Irwin)
Guitar club will run today at lunchtime in the Music department.

Flute Group (Mrs Clark)
Flute Group will be on every Wednesday lunchtime in the Music Department.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. See Dr Murray for a pass. Bring you lunch!

Higher Music Study Support (Mr Wilkie)
This will run every Wednesday after school, 3:15-4:15pm.
