le voyage du KHS à Paris le vendredi

We sadly left the chateau at 10 am after breakfast, packing and tidying our rooms. We are sad to be going home. However, have a trip to Thiepval to commemorate some of the fallen who were pupils at KHS and lay a wreath, before we headed to Calais to do some shopping before the Ferry/bus home.

7 pupils from our group were chosen by staff to read about some of the soldiers missing graves that attended KHS. They were Thaila, Jack, Mia , Amelie, Ceilidh, Noël, and Kara. All 7 read beautifully and did us all proud.

3 pupils (Isla, Jordan, and Megan) were chosen to lay a KHS poppy wreath to commemorate all of the fallen.

Here are our photos from this very sad day.

Photos and blog thanks to room 10 girls, Mia B., Grace P., Natasha S., Meeyah L., Grace T., Harveer K., Sukhveer K. and Kenzie M..
