S5 Course Choice Assembly – plus info re. prefect applications (Mrs Hamilton)
There will be an S5 assembly during tutor on today. All S5 pupils should report to tutor to get registered and then proceed to the Assembly Hall. The assembly may run into period 1.

S1 First Chances (Mr Geissler)
Could all S1 First Chances pupils meet in B2 (Mr Geissler’s room) at break time today.

Crochet club (Mx Donaldson)
Club is cancelled today but will be back on next week as normal.

Children’s Mental Health Week (Miss Johnston)
This week is Children’s Mental Health Week and it is used to empower, equip and give a voice to all young people and children in the UK. So many young peoples mental health is dismissed as part of ‘growing up’. Your feelings matter, you deserve to be heard and it’s ok to speak up that you’re struggling. Children’s mental health matters too. Here is the poster our Mental Health Ambassadors created to remind you who you can contact if you feel you are struggling and can’t speak to someone in the school.

A resurrected mummy and The Rock are trying to take over the world. Can the O’Connell’s stop their evil plans? Probably – but it’s still a fun watch. All are welcome to classics film club. Bring your lunch with you to C11. See me for a pass in advance.

 

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray)
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

KHS D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Group (Dr Murray/Miss Collins)
The KHS D&D Group meets in D2 (Home Ec) every Friday after school. Take part in exciting adventures and storytelling. It’s all up to the fate of the dice!

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club runs Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand masters welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.

Anime and Manga Club (Miss Kelsey)
Anybody interesting in watching, drawing, and/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.

Basketball & Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball and Badminton clubs will start on Monday afterschool in the games hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils in S1-S6 welcome.

S6 Yearbook (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook Committee will meet Monday’s after school in D9 from 3:15pm.

S4-S6 Study Support for Classical Studies (Mrs Brown)
A reminder this is on 3:15-4:15pm for all N5 pupils and Highers pupils.
