Kirkcaldy High School

Respect for Self, Others, and Learning

Fife Shakespeare Festival

The Fife Shakespeare Festival was held in St. Andrew’s at “The Byre” theatre this year. Four schools performed, with Dunfermline giving us “Much Ado About Nothing”, Beath High with “Julius Caeser”, Madras High with “Macbeth”, and Kirkcaldy High with “As You Like it”.

The performances were excellent. Many nerves were overcome and voices projected well. The actors showed characterisation worthy of the greatest thespian and everyone found their “mark”!

The stage-tech team also had an amazing time getting hands-on experience with the professional level technology at The Byre.

A huge “well done” to everyone involved and thanks to all the wonderful staff at The Byre for looking after us so well!
