Cottage Charity Donations
The Cottage Charity in Kirkcaldy is looking for new, unopened Christmas presents for 0-16 year olds, toiletries, baby formula and winter jackets for their Christmas appeal. Any donations and contributions are greatly appreciated. The deadline for the Cottage is 15 December. Any donations can be taken to the Ops Rooms. Thank you for your support.

Children in Need “Bearpee Challenge” (Miss Lipton)
Congratulations to all our S1 and S2 pupils who took part in the Bearpee Challenge on Friday afternoon. Collectively we managed to achieve 5652 bearpees with the S1 year group bagging 3357 of those! The superstars of the afternoon however were Lucy Forrester in S2 who managed 260 Bearpees on her own & Kayden Fyfe in S1 who managed a whopping 374.. fantastic effort all round.

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)
Can all footballers selected for the upcoming 7s tournament, please attend a meeting at break today in the boys’ gym.

S1-S2 UEFA Champions League (Mr Greenhorn)
Semi-Final 1 due to take place today REAL MADRID vs BORUSSIA DORTMUND has been postponed due to a number of players involved in football game representing the school. This fixture will be rearranged for Thursday 7th June. On Wednesday Semi-Final 2 takes place as planned, which is YOUNG BOYS vs UNION BERLIN.

U14 Football (Mr Mooney)
No training tonight due to game against Bell Baxter. Team is up on the door of B25.

Study Support – Fashion & Textiles and Art & Design (Mrs Donaldson)
Cancelled this week. Back on again next week as normal.

S5 Mock Course Choice (Mrs Hamilton)
This will be taking place on Wednesday 6 December, period 6. Please report to your class teacher at the start of period 6 to register before coming to the assembly hall. If you have an assessment arranged for this time, please stay in class and I will arrange for you to complete your mock course choice at a later time.

TODAYS STANDING NOTICE

12 Days of Science at Christmas (Miss Irvine)
If you are in S1/S2 and are interested in STEM please come along to our Christmas themed Science lunch club every Tuesday lunchtime starting from Tuesday 28 November in A1 up until the Christmas holidays. You will get the chance to carry out mini experiments whilst learning new skills and about careers in STEM. Please collect a lunchtime pass from Miss Irvine in A1 if you would like to come along, passes are on a first come first served basis.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on every Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15pm. Please head to the PE base after school.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.

Rights Respecting Schools Group & Ambassadors (Ms Young)
Remember we will be meeting today to work on all the exciting ideas you have come up with, B14 at 1:15pm – come and collect a pass if you don’t already have one.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. S1 & Senior Netball (Miss Johnston)
S1 and senior netball will be on after school every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm.
