Remembrance Day 2023 (Mrs Harrower)
The House Captains will be coming around tutors this week to give you an opportunity to donate money for a poppy. Please donate anything you can afford. All money will go to Poppy Scotland.

PE Lost Property (Mrs Steedman)
If you have lost any items of clothing since summer can you please come down to the PE department on Wednesday at lunch to see if you can find any of your items. These clothes will be taken to a charity shop if the owners are not found.

SQA Assessment Survey (Mrs Davidson)
All S5/S6 pupils, please complete the SQA Assessment Survey – link is in your Team.

U14 Football Training (Mr Mooney)
There will be no football training on today.

Senior Football (Mr Caldwell)
All seniors who have been selected for the Scottish Cup match against Carnoustie HS, please attend a meeting on Wednesday break time in Room D10.

S1-S2 UEFA Champions League (Mr Greenhorn)
A reminder that our second round of UCL futsal matches will take place tomorrow in the main games hall at 1:10-1:40pm. Team managers have been emailer a copy of the fixtures. A printed copy of fixtures is now on display outside the Active Schools Office.

Guitar Lessons (Mrs Duckett)
Guitar students will NOT have a lesson next Wednesday 1 November. Instead, they will have a lesson with Mr Irwin on Friday 3 November.

S5 Lift Off LOLS Participants (Miss Nessel)
Your presentation will be delivered in school today in my room (D8). This will be Period 5. Your teachers know not to expect you in class this period. Please come to my room promptly.

Scottish Maths Challenge (Mr Jones)
All students S1-S6 are invited to take part in the Scottish Maths Challenge. Put your strong maths skills to the test, and compete against other students across Scotland. The event will take place in C3 today at lunch time. See Mr Jones with any questions.

S2/3 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
Training will be on today as normal.

Iceland Trip (Ms Wallace)
There will be an essential meeting for all those attending the Iceland trip on Thursday at break in B10.

Last Inktober Session (Mrs Donaldson)
D15, 1pm on Friday. Please bring your folders, pens & artwork. This will be the last session of the challenge. Please come along even if your works not quite finished.

S5/6 Discover STEM Day at the University of Dundee (Miss Tennant)
Visit the University of Dundee campus and experience some taster sessions in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Environmental Science and Anatomy & Human Identification. You will also have the opportunity to see the University of Dundee campus during a guided tour with some student ambassadors. LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on every Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15pm. Please head to the PE base after school.

S4-S6 Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
Runs on Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30pm in D15.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.

WEDNESDAY 1 NOVEMBER

National 5 Maths/Apps Study Support (Mr Jones)
Pop along to ask questions, get help with homework or just have a quiet space to study. Every Wednesday lunchtime in C3.

Rights Respecting Schools Group & Ambassadors (Ms Young)
Remember we will be meeting today to work on all the exciting ideas you have come up with, B14 at 1:15pm – come and collect a pass if you don’t already have one.

Flute Group will be on every Wednesday lunchtime in the Music Department.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
