PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT THESE ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES AROUND THE BUILDING AND IN CLASSROOMS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FROM TEACHERS OR AT RECEPTION. THANKS.

S2 Assembly (Mr Harrower)
There will be an assembly for all S2 pupils during tutor on today. You should register with your tutor teacher then go straight to the assembly hall.

Transition Project (Belinda Deacon)
The transition meetings at the Primary schools are postponed for this week and Monday 7 February.

Senior Football (Mr English)
All boys who are travelling to Aberdeen for the Senior Shield tie on Friday must attend a meeting at break today.

Yearbook (Mrs Czudek)
Anyone wishing to buy a yearbook – the full cost is £20. A minimum payment of £10 must be made by 15 February and the full amount must be paid by 28 February. All payments must be made through iPayimpact. If you need any assistance in setting up the payment please come and see Mrs Czudek in CDT.

S6 Leavers Hoodies (Gillian Wood, PSO)
Can all S6 who want to purchase a leavers hoodie please make their £20 payment on iPayimpact by Thursday 10 February. Please come and see me at the PSO base if you have an issue paying online or if you need financial support. There will be QR codes placed around the school by the end of next week. The QR code will take you to the order form.

College/FA (J Davidson)
All pupils should be attending College/FA again this week. Anyone who has incomplete work will have to attend during study leave in May so please attend every session so this is not required.

For all of S6 – Photos for Paige (Ms Mahr & Mrs Kerek)
We are collecting photos from various departments to put into a beautiful keepsake photo box for Paige’s family when we give them the book of condolences. If you have photos of Paige from school shows or projects or class etc. and you would like them to be included with this, could you please see Ms Mahr by Friday 4 February to organise getting the photos to her.

Sutton Trust Applications – S5 Pupils (Miss Fotheringham)
S5 pupils who are planning on applying to university, you have the opportunity to apply for a week long Sutton Trust Summer School where you will experience student life at one of the UK’s top universities. S5 Lift Off Participants (Miss Nessel)
You will soon be receiving your IAP form. You should complete this before your 1-2-1 meeting with Abertay University on 15 February (held in school – more details will follow soon).

Wider Achievements (Mrs Duckett)
Please send Mrs Duckett – or school email – any achievements you have had outside school. Sport, hobbies, music, performances, clubs, cadets, animal training etc. Photos and/or videos would be brilliant. This is for the next ‘achievement round up’ before the February break. Thanks.

Rugby Club (Mr Stewart)
The new extra-curricular rugby club starts this week. This will take place on a Thursday after school from 3:15pm to 4:15pm on the school Astro pitch. This new club is open to all year groups and is being run in partnership with Kirkcaldy Rugby Club. Please bring warm gear and report to the PE dept.

Bowling with LEAP Sports (Dr Murray)
February is LGBT History Month and to mark that LEAP Sports have organised a bowling competition on Sunday 20 February at Tenpin Falkirk. It’s for aged 14+ – if you fancy being part of it see Dr Murray in A4!

Craft Club will run on a Thursday lunchtime, 1:15-1:40pm in C6.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

S1-S3 Netball (Miss Steedman)
S1-S3 netball will run on Thursday after school from 3:30-4:15pm.

FRIDAY 4 FEBRUARY

Health Zone (School Nurse)
You can access the confidential drop in service for any reason at all, including support with sexual health and contraception. The nurses also offer mental health support and will “signpost” to other services. This will run today at lunchtime behind Community Use.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
“Release the KRAKEN!!” All are welcome to come and see the remake of the Clash of the Titans at Classics Film club, in C11. Bring a packed lunch and see the hero Perseus in action.
