S1 Assembly (Mr Harrower)
There will be an assembly for all S1 pupils during tutor today. You should register with your tutor teacher then go straight to the assembly hall.

College/FA (J Davidson)
All pupils should be attending College/FA again this week. Anyone who has incomplete work will have to attend during study leave in May so please attend every session so this is not required.

S3 Prefects (J Davidson)
Massive thanks to all S3 prefects who helped out while the S6 prefects were on study leave.

LGBT+ History Month (LGBT+ Committee)
Welcome to #LGBTHistoryMonth at KHS! This month we will be Tweeting (@KHS_LGBT) a daily historical event and finishing off with a celebration of Purple Friday! Stay tuned!

For all of S6 – Photos for Paige (Ms Mahr & Mrs Kerek)
We are collecting photos from various departments to put into a beautiful keepsake photo box for Paige’s family when we give them the book of condolences. If you have photos of Paige from school shows or projects or class etc. and you would like them to be included with this, could you please see Ms Mahr by Friday 4 February to organise getting the photos to her.

Sutton Trust Applications – S5 Pupils (Miss Fotheringham)
S5 pupils who are planning on applying to university, you have the opportunity to apply for a week long Sutton Trust Summer School where you will experience student life at one of the UK’s top universities. S5 Lift Off Participants (Miss Nessel)
You will soon be receiving your IAP form. You should complete this before your 1-2-1 meeting with Abertay University on 15 February (held in school – more details will follow soon).

Fife Council Trade Apprenticeships (Mrs Lautredou)
Fife Council Trade Apprenticeships close this week. If you need help with your application, please pop and along and see the Careers Advisers.

Fife College Applications (Mrs Lautredou)
Fife College Applications for courses starting in August are now open – if you need help with your application or want to talk about which course to pick, pop along and see the Careers Advisers. Just to note that some courses fill up quickly, particularly Construction and some Childcare so look to apply sooner rather than later.

Wider Achievements (Mrs Duckett)
Please send Mrs Duckett – or school email – any achievements you have had outside school. Sport, hobbies, music, performances, clubs, cadets, animal training etc. Photos and/or videos would be brilliant. This is for the next ‘achievement round up’ before the February break. Thanks.

House Captain Meeting (Miss Hay)
There will be a House Captain meeting today at 1:10pm on B6. This is a compulsory meeting for all captains to attend – if you cannot make it please speak to your House Leader in advance.

Little Shop of Horrors (Mr McPherson)
Rehearsals for Little Shop of Horrors will be on today for all performers. Come prepared for movement and dance.

Rugby Club (Mr Stewart)
The new extra-curricular rugby club starts this week. This will take place on a Thursday after school from 3:15pm to 4:15pm on the school Astro pitch. This new club is open to all year groups and is being run in partnership with Kirkcaldy Rugby Club. Please bring warm gear and report to the PE dept.

Bowling with LEAP Sports (Dr Murray)
February is LGBT History Month and to mark that LEAP Sports have organised a bowling competition on Sunday 20 February at Tenpin Falkirk. It’s for aged 14+ – if you fancy being part of it see Dr Murray in A4!

S1-S3 Maths Homework Support (Mr Jones)
Maths homework club with Mr Jones will run weekly every Wednesday lunchtime (1:15-1:40pm) for pupils in S1 to S3. Grab your lunch first and come along to C3 for homework support.

Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Homework club will be running each Wednesday in C6 from 3:20-4:10pm for all year groups, all subjects.

Equalities Group (Ms Mahr)
Come along and meet the Equalities Group on Wednesday lunchtimes at 1pm (bring your lunch) in C12! Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all!

S4-S6 Senior Netball (Mrs Little)
Senior netball will run on Wednesday after school in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:30pm. All new and experienced players welcome.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support will now be running every Wednesday after school from 3:30-4:30pm in A1. It is welcome to all S3-S6 Biology students. Hope to see some of you there!

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!
