Child Protection

All children and young people in Fife have a right to be cared for and protected. We all have a part to play to ensure that you are safe and your needs are met. Here in Fife, we believe that “child protection is everyone’s job and everyone’s responsibility”.

As stated in the document, Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy Education Scotland (August 2020) “Providers of education in Scotland will enable children, young people and adults to be safe, nurtured, achieving, healthy, active, included, respected and responsible; and children, young people and adults in Scotland to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors in centres of learning, the workplace and the community”.
