Transforming Learning and Digital Technology

Our school is embracing Fife Council’s Transforming Learning initiative, using iPads and digital technology to enhance learning and teaching. Technology provides opportunities for pupils to be creative, collaborate, personalise their learning and develop the digital skills they need for learning, life and work.

We see technology as a tool to enhance and enrich high-quality teaching, rather than replace traditional learning experiences. iPads can support accessibility, engagement and independence while giving pupils greater opportunities to learn both in school and beyond.

Our approach reflects Fife Council’s vision for learning that is Connected, Consistent, Confident and Creative, as well as Scotland’s national commitment to effective digital learning and teaching.
