School Uniform

There is no doubt that the positive ethos of the school, the firm but fair discipline, the children’s attitude to work and to themselves, are all reflected in the wearing of the school colours. The uniform enhances the feeling of “belonging” to the school. Our uniform also contributes to children’s safety as it makes them easy to identify when we are out of school.

We are proud of our school colours, and are sure that the wearing of them adds a sense of belonging and responsibility.

We encourage children to change their shoes on entering the building. We recommend that children use their gym shoes as indoor shoes.

Sweatshirts, cardigans, ties, jackets and a complete gym kit are available from BE Schoolwear.  Items can be ordered online from BE Schoolwear at https://www.border-embroideries.co.uk .

Online orders will be delivered to your home. Please note that a delivery charge applies.    They also have two shops: one in Kirkcaldy and one in Dundee.

Pre-loved Uniform

A large selection of pre-loved uniform is kept at school.   All items have been donated and are in good condition.  We regularly have a pre-loved uniform stall at school events so that parents can help themselves to whatever is required.  Alternatively, please contact Anya Hart-Dyke, one of our parents who manages our pre-loved uniform, at  anyahd@yahoo.com.  She will be happy to organise uniform for you.  There is no cost involved.

Please Note

Shoes should be ‘sensible’. For reasons of safety they should have flat heels. It is also important for health and safety reasons that shoes worn outdoors must not be worn in the gymnasium.

For health and safety reasons children are restricted to wearing stud earrings. All jewellery should be removed for all physical activities. Children bring valuables to school at their own risk.
