The Rhythmic Classroom Guidance Document
The Rhythmic Classroom is a proactive, universal intervention. It is delivered at a whole-class level for children with a range of needs including supporting those with social and emotional needs by increasing predictability, sensory input, and movement within the classroom environment.
It has been piloted and evaluated over the last year and guidance has now been developed for FCEPS. The guidance explains the 4-step approach when introducing and implementing the Rhythmic Classroom in schools. Anyone who wants further information or looking to implement within a school please speak to Julie, Hannah B or Gwen.

Attendance Toolkit
We have refreshed and further developed our Updated FCEPS Attendance 2026 which was shared with you at a Development Day earlier this year. The toolkit takes account of updated research and provides a holistic framework for schools to effectively gather assessment information and implement tailored intervention to re-engage young people with school attendance difficulties. The toolkit can also be used with schools to consider systemic approaches to help support attendance.
As a subgroup, we have been consulting and piloting the toolkit within a small number of schools and casework and we will be producing a finalised version which can be used and shared more widely. If you have used the toolkit with your schools we are keen to hear your feedback and would ask you to complete this Microsoft form
