School Uniform

Team Denend wear their uniform with pride. Wearing school uniform helps children to identify with the school, promotes a positive school ethos and encourages a purposeful attitude towards learning. Our school colours are navy and light blue blue.

We encourage the wearing of school uniform which consist of:

  • Black school trousers, shorts (not leggings or jeans) or skirt
  • Sky blue shirt or polo shirt
  • Navy jumper or cardigan (plain or with school branding – no sports or designer branding please).
  • P7 Uniform – special tie for P7 pupils which they can wear with a white shirt, in term 4 they also have the choice to purchase and wear a leavers hoody.

School uniform is available to order online at www.myclothing.com.

Children should bring a warm, waterproof jacket suitable for all weathers.

PE Kit

Children are asked to change into sports clothing for PE. This consists of black or navy shorts or tracksuit bottoms with a white T-shirt. Children should wear plimsolls or soft soled training shoes for PE. Velcro fastenings are best for younger children to encourage independence.

We also have regular outdoor learning including trips to the forest behind the school. We have some clothing and footwear to offer children including wellies, waterproof trousers and jackets and warm hats, gloves and scarves. Some children prefer to bring their own forest kit to wear.

We have lots of spare uniform in our early years building – please just help yourself. Similarly, please hand any unwanted school uniform to the office.
