Our Denend Green Team (DGT) have representatives from each class in our school and they have been meeting this session to create new ideas which will help to achieve Green Flag status with Keep Scotland Beautiful.

New ideas have included designing posters to promote less waste in our dinner hall, getting Fife Council to show us how to fit anti-bird screens to our outdoor bins and arranging our adoption of Wallsgreen Park as a local area we’d like to tidy up from time to time. We plan to conduct at least one litter-pick here each term and we’ve already completed two last term, one just in time for the Village Fair.
