At Denend Primary School, we are on our journey to become a SILVER Rights Respecting School. This is an accreditation awarded to schools by UNICEF, who are the world’s leading organisation for promoting the Rights of the Child.

Following on from our learning about the UNCRC Children’s Rights across the school, we have worked hard towards achieving our Bronze Award!
Now, we are working towards our Silver Award. This work is led by a group of children, staff and parents.
Part of this work is to help our wider community know about and understand the UNCRC.
