Bookbug (Scottish Book Trust)

Bookbug’s main aim is to inspire a love of stories, songs and rhymes from birth. The benefits from Bookbug sessions are endless; social skills, confidence, turn-taking and most of all supporting and extending childrens language and literacy skills. In our nursery we run weekly Bookbug sessions where you can come together with your child to read a story, sing songs, learn new rhymes and play pass the parcel! There are often free books and activity sheets available to take away. It isvery informal and lots of fun! Everyone is welcome; parents, grandparents and silbings!
