Outdoor Learning at Crossgates Primary School

Outdoor Learning (P1-P7) 

We offer a wide range of outdoor learning experiences for all of our pupils. At all stages, classes are encouraged to take their learning outdoors. We also aim to maximise their learning experiences through the use of local outdoor facilities. 

Residential Experiences (P5 & P7) 

As well as outdoor learning experiences our upper school pupils have the opportunity to attend residential experiences. P5 spend one night at Fordell Firs and P7 spend four nights at Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre. 

John Muir Award (P5-7) 

Through a mixture of outdoor learning and residential experienes our upper school pupils work towards achieving their John Muir Award.
