Our School Improvement Priorities this year (2026-27) are:
1. Raising Attainment in Reading

To raise confidence, motivation, engagement and attainment in reading.

To develop practitioners’ capacity and confidence for planning high-quality learning, teaching and assessment in reading and ensure children are making full progress in their learning.
2. Develop a consistent and progressive STEM curriculum

To strengthen approaches to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) that support all pupils’ learning and development, ensuring increased equality and equity for every child across the wider school community.
Our draft Nursery Improvement Priority this year are:
1. Develop and enhance our interactions in nursery
- To develop practitioners’ capacity and confidence in consistently using high-quality interactions to enrich the learning experience of our children.
2. Improving Approaches to Outdoor Learning.
- To develop practitioners’ capacity and confidence for planning high-quality learning, teaching and assessment in outdoor learning experiences.
