Our School Improvement Priorities this year are:
1. Promoting Positive Relationships and Behaviour

To develop universal, targeted and intensive practices to support all children to engage in high-quality learning experiences and meet the needs of all learners; with a particular focus on pupils requiring SEB support.
2. Raising Attainment in Writing and Numeracy
- To develop practitioners’ understanding of planning for high-quality learning, teaching and assessment in writing and numeracy to support key pedagogical approaches (7 design principles) and ensure children are making good progress in their learning.
- To raise attainment, motivation and engagement in writing and numeracy using a quality Improvement methodology
3. Improving Approaches to Planning, Tracking and Reporting Across the Broad General Eduction (BGE)
- To plan a progressive curriculum for all children, across 8 curriculum areas ensuring that all children receive their entitlement to a broad general education.
- To develop the use of benchmarks for all curriculum areas to measure children’s progress and achievement of a level across the broad general education using a range of assessment evidence to inform professional judgements.
Our Nursery Improvement Priorities this year are:
1. Improving Family Engagement

To increase the number of meaningful opportunities for staff, pupils, and families to have collaborative ownership of the nursery and the nursery improvement methodology.
2. Developing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Opportunities
