We have 5 different soft rooms around the school. These are small, empty rooms. Lots of us like to go there for ‘intensive interaction’ type activities. This is when we play in the soft room with an adult who joins in with us, copying any sounds and actions we make. We usually love this type of activity, because there are no distractions and we are in control of the fun!

Some of us occasionally use a soft room for ‘time out’ of our busy day for calm and relaxation.
