All children have settled in really well and have been working hard and doing some super listening and group work.

We decided on class rules and a class charter to keep everyone safe and happy. (see photo)

We have been enjoying football on Wednesday and Gym on a Friday. (see photos)

We do daily yoga or story massage to help us settle and get ready for learning. (see photo)

Our topic this term is Houses and Homes. We will be building houses using different materials and going on community walks to see what types of houses we can see.

The children have been working hard in Literacy – writing sentences independently, reading their new ORT books and playing phonics games on Topmarks.

For Numeracy, we are learning about Place Value. The children enjoy using the diennes to make and show numbers. Some of us can even show numbers upto 1000!

We are looking forward to working and learning with our friends and getting back to playing in the big playground.
