Attendance 

What are the school and nursery opening times? 

The school day for Primary 1- Primary 7 is from 9:00am until 3:00pm. There is a 20 minute morning break from 10:40am-11:00am and a 40 minute lunch break from 12:40pm- 1:20pm.  

The Nursery operates from 9:00am-3:00pm with lunch at 12pm.

What to do if my child is going to be late for school or nursery? 

Call the office on (01383) 602444 and make school aware of the reason for lateness.

 What to do if my child has an appointment during the school day? 

Call the office on (01383) 602444 and make school aware of the appointment day and time.

 What to do if my child is absent?

Call the office on (01383) 602444 and make school aware of the absence and the reason for.

School Meals & Milk

Do parents pay for school meals?

School meals are free for Nursery-P5. No application is needed for this.

P6 and P7  children pay for school meals. School meals cost £2.40

Payment is preferred on www.ipayimpact.co.uk. It can also be made at the school office.

How can I pre-order school meals for my child?  

You can log onto ‘ipayimpact’ website (website below) and register to access your child’s account.

How do I order milk?

Notification is sent to all parents via our Groupcall system.

Milk can then be ordered via the school office and paid using Ipayimpact.

Milk is ordered and paid for each term.

School Uniform 

What should my child wear to school? 

Red or black jumper/ cardigan, white shirt / polo shirt, dress/ skirt / trousers, socks, tie and sensible shoes. 

Jeans / denim jacket and outside T-shirts including football t-shirts are not suitable for wearing during the school day

For gym or outdoor learning days, children can come to school wearing black or grey joggers, plain t shirt, school jumper and appropriate shoes.

Where can I buy school uniform for my child? 

All items are available to order from Border Embroideries only. https://www.border-embroideries.co.uk/search/blairhall. School ties can be purchased from the school office, please contact for prices.

Health/ Medical 

What do I do if my child has dietary requirement / allergy / develops an allergy to food?

 Go to: https://www.fife.gov.uk/kb/docs/articles/education2/schools-in-fife/school-meals to complete a Specific Dietary Requirement form, our kitchen staff will then be informed of your child’s requirement and will arrange to discuss with you how best to fulfil your child’s needs.

What do I do if my child is prescribed medication, they need to take during the school day? 

Please contact the office (01383) 602444 and fill in the correct form, hand in the medication to the school office for safe storage.
