CIRCLE is designed to share the good practice and ideas of education staff, focusing on advice and strategies for improving the participation, acceptance and achievement of learners who have additional support needs.
- Each pack has an assessment tool – starting with this to identify what are the barriers and focusing down to the priorities.
- From there, stage of supporting the identification of appropriate and relevant strategies.
- Specific sections included in the resource covering supports, interventions and strategies e.g. attention and concentration, gross and fine motor skills, social, emotional and relationship skills, communication skills
- Also covers principles such as effective collaborative and background legislation.
