Primary 5 stepped into the magical world of Snape’s Bubbling Potions today as they experimented with a range of exciting chemical reactions!

The children made fantastic predictions, carefully observed what happened and worked brilliantly together, showing excellent communication and sharing skills throughout the experiment. Their creativity really came to life when they renamed the ingredients – washing-up liquid became Fairy Spit and Trolls’ Ear Wax! 🧚‍♀️👂

They then discussed what causes chemical reactions and explored how reactions like these can be seen in everyday life. They even thought about how professions such as chefs use chemical reactions every day when cooking and baking.
