Celebrating Mrs Roy’s Retirement

Today was a very special and emotional day at St Mary’s as we celebrated the retirement of Mrs Roy after an incredible 27 years of dedicated service to our school community.

Pupils, staff, family members, friends and former colleagues came together for a retirement assembly filled with gratitude, laughter, happy memories and a few tears. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the difference Mrs Roy has made to the lives of so many children and families over the years.

Throughout her time at St Mary’s, Mrs Roy has shown endless kindness, patience and care, supporting generations of pupils and helping them to feel confident, valued and successful. Her warm smile, gentle encouragement and unwavering commitment have made her a much-loved member of our school family.

While we will miss seeing Mrs Roy in our corridors and classrooms, we are so grateful for everything she has given to St Mary’s over the past 27 years. Her impact will be felt for many years to come, and she will always hold a special place in the heart of our school.

From all of us at St Mary’s, thank you, Mrs Roy, for your dedication, friendship and care. We wish you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement filled with new adventures, precious family time and many wonderful memories. You will always be part of the St Mary’s family.
