Primary 4 Explorers Club Celebrate World Earth Day

This week, Primary 4 Explorers Club marked World Earth Day with a range of thoughtful and hands-on activities designed to inspire care for our planet.

The children began by reading A Place for Plastic, which sparked an engaging discussion about the impact of plastic pollution on our environment. They shared ideas about how we can all make small changes to help protect the Earth, showing great awareness and enthusiasm.

To bring their learning to life, the pupils created their own edible Earths using rice cakes, yogurt, blueberries, and green grapes. This fun activity encouraged creativity while reinforcing the importance of looking after our world.

The learning didn’t stop there! The children then headed outdoors for some litter picking, taking pride in helping to keep our school grounds clean. They also enjoyed a nature scavenger hunt, exploring the environment and identifying different natural features around them.

It was a fantastic day of learning, teamwork, and environmental action. Well done to our Primary 4 explorers for showing such care and responsibility for our planet!
