Early Years Peripatetic Teacher; linked to the Falkirk Cluster with particular focus on numeracy and Falkirk Council’s Play is the Way initiative. 

Elaine Craigen


Early Years Peripatetic Teacher; cluster link for both Boness and Larbert supporting practitioners to continue to develop their skills to deliver high quality learning and childcare with particular focus on ASN and literacy. 


Cheryl Smyth 


Early Years Peripatetic Teacher; linked to the Denny cluster with particular focus on Sustained Shared Thinking and Emotional Wellbeing, and Play on Pedals initiative. 

Gemma Paterson 


Lead Early Years Pedagogue; supporting and coaching 8 EY pedagogues (equity & excellence leads) within Falkirk Council; with particular focus on Marvellous Mealtimes. Link officer for the Braes and Grangemouth cluster. 


Margaret Aitken 

ELC Training & Improvement Officer; working predominately with private partner nurseries and childminders, whilst overseeing Internal Verification for Level 6 & 7 SVQ qualifications. 

Nicola McCarter-Gall

Peripatetic SVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier for SVQ Social Services Children and Young People within the Falkirk Council education system.

Peripatetic SVQ Assessor; delivering training on all aspects of Early Years to candidates undertaking SVQ Level 6 & 7, and offering support and guidance to develop the future workforce.
