On Wednesday p5N got our fish. It was very good. First we have to take turns to check to see how cold it is because if it is over 10 degrees it might kill them. It is exciting because when they are older we will take them and put them in the water out in the river. We get to see them change and grow older. If it is not at the right temperature we have to put ice in it. We have to check if they are not dying because the fungus will spread.

Your class have obviously been learning all about the correct conditions for hatching fish. I still don’t know what fish they are! The tag says trout, but another post mentioned salmon.Please share which it is! If they are trout, are they brown or rainbow? I look forward to reading about their progress.
