We had a fire in our school hall last Friday. Luckily, one of our super helpers called the fire brigade out quickly, even though it was the middle of the night. This stopped the fire spreading out of the hall.
The hall is a bit of a mess! There is black dirt from the smoke everywhere. The school still smells a bit too. We can’t do PE in the hall and we have to have dinners in the GP room.
I heard about the fire from your teacher. How lucky that someone called the fire brigade in time.

Will you be making lots of new displays to go in the hall? I would love to see it when it has been redecorated.
